“Weight Watchers frozen meals vs Nutrisystem”

This program has meals produced from natural ingredients, which works well in enhancing* weight loss*. These ingredients work by suppressing cravings for sugary foods, enhance* metabolism and energy production, thus facilitating fat oxidation.

The second plan is the “core plan.” Currently priced at $10.54 per day, this is a great plan for those looking for a bit of flexibility with their weight loss regimen. You can choose from a variety of foods, or try Nutrisystem’s “Favorites Pack.” An option is also available at this level for individuals with diabetes.

Some people are reluctant to try because it seems too much like going it alone. After all, there are no weekly meetings to attend to help to hold you accountable. Where do you turn for help? They address this, to some extent, with its informative knowledge base, which includes in-depth FAQs, articles and other resources to help you along through your weight-loss journey.

It gets better. Quite frequently, dieters are pleasantly surprised that the balance is not as great as they initially believed it would be. Most customers even discover that the total cost for the program actually is less than what their normal food spend on items that quite likely caused them to gain weight in the first place!

Eating out: Discouraged and challenging, but possible – particularly for your two “flex” meals each week. The company provides an “eating out guide” with recommendations categorized by cuisine such as Thai, Italian and French. The guide also suggests diet-friendly foods at 30 of the most popular eateries nationwide.

Once adhered to, the official website also adds how people have lost around 15 pounds and 7 inches within the first month of use. Users agreed that these kinds of results are possible, and that the fitness portion of the program was easy to follow.

After one month the whole diet thing was easier as I was no longer craving foods like before. The cravings were not completely gone but walking away from a piece of cake or pizza was no longer a challenge. I had my own Nutrisystem goodies such as chocolate, pizza, potatoes, muffins and more. I didn’t feel deprived of any of my favorite foods.

I am 48 yrs. old and am on my third week of nutrisystem. I was looking to lose just 10 lbs in three weeks to fit into a special dress. i have been stag-net at 7 for this entire third week. i do exercise for 30-40 minutes a day 5 days a weeks also (not vigorous, just walking of the elliptical. my clothes fit better, and i feel good, i think if you added in a walk or two you would definitely meet your goal . the portions are so controlled, it may just be water weight you are seeing.

If there’s one area you’d think a big diet company would focus on, it’s the customer service. But this was one complaint that I kept seeing about Nutrisystem – I disagree, with this assessment, however (more on that below).

Hello there! This post could not be written any better! Reading this post reminds me of my good old room mate! He was always trying new weight loss products. I will forward this page to him. Fairly certain he will have a good read. Thank you for sharing!

Nutrisystem Silver Uniquely Yours – includes all the features available in the other two variants but have many remarkable features like a whole new range of frozen food delicacies is available to you which you can even fully customize and hand pick your choices from. This plan costs $12 a day but the frozen food menu is just worth a few extra bucks if it would suit your pocket.

That’s a total of 34lbs in 3.5 months. I was thinking about quitting the first month–I’m so glad I didn’t. I read a lot of comments here and most are pretty positive about it. Some are not so positive and a few are downright caustic in their opinions.

I am on my second week of NutriSystem and I have to say most of the food is horrible. I have had a few good things, but overall I will not purchase another month of food. I think Jenny Craig has much better tasting food, though both programs aren’t cheap.

My wife loves me being on the Nutrisystem diet too. She is very impressed with the progress I have made losing weight. She’s also happy that she does not have to cook special foods for me when she’s making dinner.  She just makes dinner for the family and I eat my Nutrisystem meal.

My Nutrisystem weekends on your own looks like this: Mornings I eat cereal. I like one bowl of Special K redberries with fat free skim milk and my two cups of coffee, sweetner no cream. Lunch on Satuardy, if I’m at home is a salad and maybe some watermelon. Dinner is usually at a restaurant. I like salads and I have had some awesome salads. We went to a steak house last Saturday and I had the small grilled Salmon, a baked sweet potato and a salad. If we go Thai I get fresh salad rolls, I love em. We keep sugar free jello cups in the fridge all the time as a snack. It’s a free food so..

I have been on Nutrisystem for 6 months and I have lost just over 35 lbs. I also joined a local gym and have a personal trainer (which of course helps). My goal is to look as good as the day I graduated from High School when I go to my 50th class reunion in 2010. By the way, I already think I look better than the day I graduated! I know, wishful thinking, right? 😉 I just wish the meals were organic, but there are no organic weight loss plans out there.

Support: Medifast’s “Take Shape for Life” program provides free access to a personal health coach. You also have free online access to food journals, nutrition guides, a weight-loss blog, and chat rooms.

I second your recommendation for Nutrisystem. Their service helped me significantly a few years ago. I’ve put on a few pounds again recently, so I’m looking to sign up again. Hoping for the same results!

The Flex Meals and eating guides are also very helpful when you have those lunches or dinners that you cannot avoid going to. I also must admit that I allow myself one cheat meal a week as well. Maybe if I was really strict, then I would have lost more weight. 11lbs in a month still makes me happy. I still have 30lbs to go to hit my goal weight, but I’m going strong and confident that I can do it because the plan’s flexibility makes is easy to stick to.

Nutrisystem works for some people, though it doesn’t always work for everyone due to a variety of reasons including personal taste or allergy restrictions. Because they offer a refund, it’s possible to try the items with less risk to see if the diet would be right for you.

The New England Journal of Medicine concluded in 2013 that a portion-controlled and calorie-restricted diet is pretty tried and true. And while it does not comment specifically on Nutrisystem, the point is made. [8]
