“Nutrisystem weekends on your own”

The second plan is the “core plan.” Currently priced at $10.54 per day, this is a great plan for those looking for a bit of flexibility with their weight loss regimen. You can choose from a variety of foods, or try Nutrisystem’s “Favorites Pack.” An option is also available at this level for individuals with diabetes.

If this keeps up I’ll easily hit my target. Maybe beat it even! I can’t wait to start buying some nice clothes in regular sizes. I haven’t done that since I was a teen over 20 years ago! Wish me luck everyone!

In my opinion, the Core Plan is worth the additional charge from the basic package, which is why it was the plan I went with when I first signed up. Ultimately though, just pick a plan that is going to work for you and your budget – you really can’t go wrong with any of them when it comes to losing weight.

So, if we look at the ingredients, you can see that they’re not only healthy but also useful. Isn’t it cool. The only thing that the company suggests you to buy from food, except these meals are vegetables, because they give us important vitamins and other nutrients.

Hey RockyRose, it’s great to hear you’re enjoying the diet and having great success with it. Yes you’re right: the secret to winning is sticking to the program (no matter what anyone else says or does).

The meats in the shelf items are conveniently packed in a vacuum sealed wrap but were tender and taste like they are right out of the deli. With so many varieties, I ate something different each day of the week.

I finally did it! So far so good… My co-workers noticed a difference in the first week. I must admit you don’t feel hungry. If you follow the meal plans, you really do eat all the time, but the portions are exactly all you need. I’m in my second week now. I think I can do this… glad I took the plunge, so tired of being fat!!!

The Nutrisystem website also provides me with access to a counselor who is available 24 hours a day to chat with if I have any questions. I highly recommend the Nutrisystem men’s basic plan. It’s working for me and I know it will work for you too. Now if I can only get my wife on it. I need more support!

I didn’t realize the difference a few pounds can make until I put the photos side by side. This put me in the mood to clean out my closet and toss out all the size 12’s and large clothes. My size 10’s were now too loose.

I know it’s easy to get caught up in the big claims by some of the TV ad featured dieters of 30lbs or more, but the reality is those big numbers take several months to achieve in most cases. So take heart… you’re losing weight at just about the right speed–steadily and progressively. You could and should double that figure inside of two months if you stick with it and stay determined to succeed!

The consultants are not professionals in this field. They undergo a training course but are not trained therapists, registered dietitians, or exercise physiologists, so the advice and support that you receive will be limited to what they have been taught to say. If you are taking any medications or have any health conditions, it is best to work with trained professionals.

The part I wish were different with Nutrisystem is the exercise portion. I know that I can enter my exercise online, but I wish there were some more specific guidelines as to how much I need to exercise. I know that Nutrisystem does not market themselves as a company that helps with exercise, but I’d sure love a little more help in that area.

This is one of several diet plans offered by Nutrisystem, and it involves portion control, balanced nutrition, and frequent meals. This system is supposed to accelerate your weight-loss results. Here is what you can expect to eat on Lean 13:

Although I’m pretty worried about the disgusting smell, taste and texture of the foods that hundreds have complained to ConsumerAffairs.com about, I think what most concerns me is the huge calorie deficit. At less than 1500 calories per day, I will be cutting my estimated current intake nearly in half.

Dee Sandquist, RD, a spokeswoman for the American Dietetic Association and director of the Center for Weight Management at Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver, thinks the diet could hold benefits for a select group. “For someone who likes structure and doesn’t like to cook, this program may help jump-start weight loss,” Sandquist says. The danger, she adds, is that it’s easy to gain the weight back. Without the program and company foods, Sandquist feels dieters could be at a loss about how to eat.

I have to say, I really do love the lunch, dinner, desserts and snacks that I’ve tried so far. It is the breakfast that I’m having trouble with. I do not like the taste of the cereal at all. It is hard to describe. I kind of think it tastes like cardboard. I haven’t tried all of them yet, but that is my general feeling about the cereal during the first three weeks of the plan. I’m happy with the muffins and the granola bars, so I’ll probably need to stick with those choices for breakfast.

The Zone diet promotes eating a balance of each nutrient, without severely restricting calories. Protein increases your feeling of fullness, helping you to avoid eating between meals, and there is a guide to what kind of fat you can consume. Healthy fats are encouraged in place of the saturated and trans fats. The calorie restriction will help you lose weight.

“I expected dry cardboard flavored food but was so pleasantly surprised. The food (at least what I ordered) was delicious! The chocolate muffins, A+, Pasta Items A++. Unfortunately, it wasn’t agreeing with my body so I had to stop the program. Customer Service me with a full refund, no hassles. My experience with Nutrisystem has been a great one!”

  1. The Zone diet is a high-protein, low-carbohydrate, fat-controlled eating plan. It is not as restrictive as other high-protein diets and it allows for a broad range of foods to be consumed. A small amount of protein is combined with twice the amount of “favorable” carbohydrates, including fruits and vegetables. If choosing “less desirable” carbohydrates, the portion size is smaller. Sears’ Zone diet is based on the theory that the human body is genetically programmed to reach peak efficiency when all meals, including snacks, consist of a set caloric ratio of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. The diet recommends an intake of 40% of calories from carbohydrates, 30% from protein, and 30% from fats (40-30-30). When this ratio is achieved, the body is working within the “zone.” The body will have maximum energy and weight loss.
With Nutrisystem I do not have to learn recipes. I do not have to learn to eat better foods. I do not have to count calories. I do not have to weigh food. With Nutrisystem all I have to do is follow the instructions and eat the foods Nutrisystem supplies.
