“Nutrisystem target stores”

I, too used Nutrisystem to lose weight and had enormous success with it. In January of 2013, I started a 3 days a week, bootcamp style class at my gym. Hard workouts. I paid $400 for the class, and at the end of 2 months I had lost a whopping 2 pounds. My pants didn’t fit better, either.

I was on 185 and went on Medifast for 5 months lost 40 lbs the food it works but the food is limited and really awful .. Gained the weight back . I was so excited to start th NS because of the so many foods to pick from I ordered s lot of frozen figuring less preservatives . Just started the turbo take off and the food taste gourmet compared to Medifast .Hopefully I will get the same results

Hey Ann and Alan, great to hear you’re so happy with this diet–and for a long time too! I’ll pass your on your question to the guys at NS, but I’m not so sure the newer customers are paying any less. There is a 1st month low-cost deal available for signing up for auto-delivery, but after that first month, subsequent monthly deliveries revert to the regular price depending on the plan.

I and my husband started it a week ago! He has lost 8lbs. and not even one for me…But both blood pressure have been lowered (my was ok to start with but even better now) and our systems have straighten out and we both feel really healthy….We, too have two full months on it and the meals (most of them) are great……Hang in there and good luck to you all…….

They will delete silly threads that have jokes about viagra or something but they will let anyone verbally attack anyone else. They don’t care. Someone began their blog with my username in the title and the entire content was slamming me and abusing me ( this was even after I closed my account and left the site) when I called they did nothing. It’s still up being read by everyone.

So, I’m starting day 1 of my second month on NS. Those first 2 weeks i dropped 13 lbs, but that third week i lost maybe 1 lb. I was only eating the provided meals the first two weeks (usually around only 800 calories per day) obviously that was unhealthy, so i added in a few snacks to put me right around 1000 calories per day. But unfortunately that has resulted in minimal weight loss. Did you have plateaus like this? And how did you over come these stalls? I did just purchase an elliptical and also a stationary bike, but only on day 2 with those. Your review was wonderful and very well written, so thank you!

Thanks so much for some clear points on the NS plan. I was pretty much sold but there was a little ‘itch’ in the back of my mind because all I could find were glowing ‘sales pitch’ reviews regarding NS. However you helped me tremendously to see what to expect and not expect from the plan. I read a few reviews on another site saying that users felt always hungry with the portion sizes, however I now feel that they most likelye didn’t take the time or advice of NS to supplement their meals with fresh greens, veggies, and fruit… Thank you again for your great article!

No matter what means you use to access the program, it revolves around the “PointsPlus budget,” a calorie-counting plan that is customized for you based on your weight, height, gender and age. You can prepare your own food or eat out, use your own recipes or follow Weight Watchers’ suggestions but to get results, you need to follow the daily budget.

With Nutrisystem you literally eat every two or three hours—breakfast, snack (fruit or a Nutrisystem snack), lunch, a Nutrisystem-approved snack in the afternoon, dinner and dessert. The three main meals and at least one or more of the snacks are prepared Nutrisystem foods. You can also choose from a vegetarian plan or a diabetes-specific plan.

I bought Nutrisystem plan sometime ago and the food made me want to vomit. I am an excellent cook and most of the meals I prepare for my family are from scratch and very healthy. this stuff tasted like platic bags. I was lucky I bought it on QVC they have a 30 day money back guarantee at at the time with free shipping. I bought it on flex pay–so I only paid one installment. If you are on the fence try buying it this way to see if you like it.

If you order the food, Nutrisystem takes care of the rest. You just eat what they tell you to eat when they tell you to eat it. All of the nutrition facts are posted on the food labels, so you know what you’re getting. This system works similarly to other diets such as Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, and South Beach Diet.

The prepackaged diet meals of Nutrisystem are not family-friendly since it is good only for one individual and some people are more interested in well-cooked foods than the prepackaged meals of this dietary program.

One thing to note with the Turbo10 Plan (Formerly the Fast5+), is that it is fully customized by Nutrisystem, so even if you choose to go the custom route, you will have to go with what NS picks for this first week of meals. But this week is about getting started on the right foot and kick-starting your diet plan into full gear, so they’re going to put together meals and snacks that help you burn the most amount of weight possible your first week on the system.

The first morning I grabbed my cup of coffee and sat down to a tiny little Nutrisystem muffin and a glass of fusion energy juice. I was hungry all day. I failed to follow the Instructions where it said I’m supposed to add healthy snacks between each meal along with four servings of vegetables. Nutrisystem labels snacks as either Power Fuels or Smart Carbs. The kit included a list of this type of foods and servings allowed for each. After reading the Nutrisystem diet  guidelines I really felt like I was going to eat too much. I mean, I didn’t eat this much when I was not on a diet. The truth is, I was eating the wrong things to achieve any positive results.

If that includes a lot of bread or pasta, pastry, candy bars, cookies, cake, plus drinking soda (you know the things and I’m pretty sure most people know it too), you need to cut them out or at least cut them down dramatically.

For those of you who are looking for a bit more flexibility with your diet, Nutrisystem also offers “My Way Plans.” These are great options for anyone who wants to enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal with family or friends in the evenings, or who would like to have a more flexible eating schedule on the weekends.

Hi, I tried for 2 weeks and had to stop after the daily bloating and gasy feeling. I have two coworkers who were on it before it started and mentioned to me about the gasy episodes. This is not normal for any healthy eating. I am not clear on what is in all the meals including the oatmeal and cereal that causes this. I have also read comments from previous users who experienced the same thing.

PPSS: My only request is that I think others subscribing more recently are getting a better deal, monetarily, than we are. How about offer us old timers a quick start 5-day plan to get us motivated and back into the race??? Not that we’ve quit, but you can believe we’ve slowed down a bit… that should help up pick up a bit both on motivation and execution of the guidelines.

Harvard studies have shown that  women have a harder time losing weight than men. Women usually have lower metabolisms, higher body fat and lead more stressful lives. In response to this, Nutrisystem has created a plethora of meal plans that are dedicated specifically to women and their unique needs. Women can choose from a tiered program based upon their individual needs – Basic, Core and Uniquely Yours. Here are just a few of the choices that clients will have on the diet plan for women:

Hi Troy – Sorry to hear that that was your experience. In all honesty, I have hadn’t any problems when dealing with their customer service, and everyone has been friendly and helpful. It was actually a customer service rep who told me I could switch from the meal delivery to just the Turbo Shakes after my first month on the program to lock in the auto-delivery savings without having to commit to another month of food. In any case, I hope you are able to get things resolved!

  1. Hi, I thought I was struggling after 2 months and only dropping a total of 9lbs, 5 of those in the first week then very slow after that. Seems the ads make you think you can drop 5lbs every week! But I’m finding it tough going. I haven’t cheated at all, just stayed with the food they sent and some grocery items they said was OK. I read many of the comments here and it helps to know I’m not the only one with a slow metabolism! I aim to start doing some exercises, that will help right? Oh yeah, the food isn’t so bad as some say. It could be better, but hey, its very cheap compared with Jenny Craig that I tried last year and their food isn’t much different! I’m waiting for my 3rd delivery, so here’s hoping I’ll lose more this month!
I am diabetic and ordered a one month supply of nutrisystem for diabetics. I tried to eat it but couldn’t. a few of the desert items were barely palatable. The very worst I have tried is the “hearty minestrone soup. it was high in carbs and tasted like thin motor oil with bits of who knows what. It would be better tasting and give me better results to eat small chunks of cardboard soaked in water with splenda on it. How can you market this product as being tasty?
