I have just finished my 2nd week of ns and have lost 8 pounds. I love everything about this program. The food is pretty good. There are a couple things that haven’t tasted so great but all in all I love ns.
The good news is that I still go out 1-2 times per week to our favorite bars and restaurants. Love a dirty martini, small appetizer, and seafood or salad combo much more than I did the fatty meals that were NOT worth the money!

Nutrisystem is going to be fewer calories than you’ve been eating. If it weren’t, you wouldn’t lose any weight. At first, the portions seem pretty small. But they actually fill you up. So I guess the answer is that it’s definitely enough food to be full, but it isn’t as much as you’re probably used to eating. For me, that was actually great, because I feel like it taught me how proper portioning works.

Lucky me I recently found Nutrisystem and started with the Fast 5 plan and couldn’t believe what I was seeing on the scales after just 5 days. I had lost 6 pounds! I’ve never lost weight before on a diet and was totally floored as you can imagine. I’m now two weeks into the womens standard plan and so far have lost an additional 4 pounds. The food is much better than I thought it would be and those little snack bars are what saved me from my habit of snacking between meals. I think if it didn’t have that small detail I would of caved. But I haven’t so far and I think its getting easier to eat the smaller meals and still not crave more snacks. I am on autodelivery and will definitely be continuing for another month, maybe two. I need to lose 50 pounds in all and I think this diet will help me do that. My only worry was what happens after the diet ends, but I’ve been reading some of the other comments here and I’m reassured I can continue eating better food in smaller portions and not revert to my old snacking habits. Highly recommend the customized plan – that’s the one I’m on. I prefer the food, but mostly because a lot of the non-frozen food has some spice or something that has an odd (maybe celery?) taste to me. I’m not a fan of anything pasta except the three cheese chicken Chicken parmesan, and the Chicken Alfredo (frozen). LOVE the tuna salad since they add minced waterchestnuts – makes it delicious! And I love having coffee and a cinnamon bun for breakfast. No it’s not Cinnabon, but it’s still a bread cinnamon bun.
