First of all..the food is not packed high with sodium. It is very low in sodium. You need to eat more dairy if you are having feeling stinky. Second, if you don’t like the food…don’t eat it. Do something that works for you. Nutrisystem has worked for a lot of people because it is showing healthy food choices and portions. Many people enjoy the food! Including myself. I’ve been trying to cancel the next order scheduled to be processed at midnight tomorrow several times. I sent the 1st email which informed me they were very busy. I was concerned they get the message before midnight so I went back in to chat. The chat person Diana told me she couldn’t cancel but that I could do that by email customer service or I could call. I emailed customer service and got a message back that I needed to call. I call in and was told she couldn’t cancel & that I had to call again tomorrow. Both things that I was told to do and neither worked. I don’t have time for this kind of runaround. VERY dissatisfied.

They send you the food and you follow the plan. I think the most important thing is that they don’t make you go through “brain drain”- not being overwhelmed is a critical part of succeeding on a diet.

If you had read my review here before purchasing, you’d see I included that information quite clearly. It’s important that everyone knows about this rule because I often hear from folks who thought they could get a cheap deal for a month and then cancel without paying for any more. But that’s not how it works and without knowing, those customers get a surprise they didn’t expect when the company charges their card for a second month and ships the food.

I greatly appreciate the helpful and intelligent comments on this site and the honest overview from those who struggle like I do. I will ignore the skinny people who constantly complain about being fat and don’t have a clue.

A carrot cake snack I received was moldy. I am a long-term customer and have never had a problem with a meal before this. I emailed and CSR responded quickly. Promised to look into it, and ordered me a replacement snack free of charge, thanks!

Hi Pat, I totally agree. I was on it a few years ago and lost a lot of weight. People were amazed; and I was amazed. I could run up stairs in a flash! The problem was, as you stated, that once I got off the plan…I put it all back on and then some! I ate anything and all I wanted because…shoot, I had finished my diet.

Hi. I am on my 4th day of the fast 5. I have lost 2 lbs so far, my husband 7lbs. I understand that our metabolisms are different. Before NS I cooked very healthy, clean meals but portion size and eating too few meals a day left us both about 20 lbs over what we wanted to be. We both work out regularly so we felt that learning to eat tegular small meals would be worth a try. Now for my problem. I have been bloated and have horrible gas and sm extremely uncomfortable every hour if the day since starting NS. Anyone have advice for me? I saw a response that said that the person was obviously not used to healthy food. Well that is absolutely not the case with me. Anyone? I don’t want to give up, but this is bad and even affects my sleep as I wake up in the early morning hours with heartburn. Thanks in advance for any thoughts or ideas you may have for me.
