But you may still harbor doubts because an ad will not always tell you the whole story about a product pr service. It will tell you all the great things about it and none of the not so great things. So does the Nutrisystem diet program really work?
When I am on Nutrisystem, your service is really good. I can email customer service and get responses back quickly. Customer service is very important. I also like the coupons that are offered and try to take advantage of them. I stopped ordering Nutrisystem a few months back but I suspect I will order again in the future. Recently I did email a question and did not get a response back. That was disappointing.
So far, after six months on Nutrisystem, I have lost 20 pounds. I am so happy. I am now confident enough to add in exercise and I know that will increase the rate at which I am losing weight. I have a long way to go, but I know with Nutrisystem’s help, I’ll get there before I know food is not bad tasting, however it is low calories and the portion sizes are SMALL! Meaning, in order to not stay hungry all day, you will have to add more foods other then veggies and fruits. They actually say you need 3 power fuels, 2 smart carbs, 4 servings of veggies and so on to feel full. Means you buying a ton of groceries on the side! In addition to low fat or fat free milk for cereal and everything has to be wheat, low fat or fat free, and if family doesn’t eat that…it’s extra groceries. It adds up fast!
This afternoon, Dr. Henry Fishman, ConsumerAffairs.com’s consulting physician, inspected me and said that at 188 pounds and six feet I’m healthy in nearly every regard but could afford to lose a few pounds.
Cooking and shopping: You can buy a 28-day shipment of food that the company selects, or you can choose each individual item yourself. You can sign up for a meal plan intended for women, men, or anyone older than 60.
Well, i hve only been on nutrisystem for oe week i finished it tonight. The oly meal I could eat without gettingsick was any meal tat was jut a little chocolat bar. and even then it wasnt filling. Ths plan is not quick and easy, unless you are countng calories and adding t very meal you are not getting proper nurtition at a minimum we shold eat 1000 clories a ay and you eat near 700 on a good dy some times 500 if you were to add anything. busy o the g people in a hurr are not gingto be satisfied with the lack of food. just poping in a persrvitave filled dish into te microwave wont do anything to fullfill your hunger. It maks me gassy sick t my stomach and have irregular bowel movements. Nutrisystem is a NO GO!
So I got to wondering why some folks are finding it so tough and hate the food so much. Only thing I can think of is they either have expensive tastes or they’re just bitchin’ cause they didn’t lose as much weight as they were expecting. Its easy to blame the diet when you fail. Not so easy to blame yourself for failing the diet!
If you did, then fine, you have every reason to be mad. But if you took advantage of their discount offer/free shipping, you automatically get signed up to auto-delivery and you need to accept at least two orders. That’s their rules.
There are ways to save on the cost. Do not let that first price you see when you go online shock you. The customer service reps are always there to help and find the best plan that’s cost effective and right for you. They are very nice and very knowledgeable. I ended up paying an average of $150.00 a month on Nutrisystem. Here are some of the ways I saved.
In a word, yes. There is some science and research that supports the Nutrisystem approach to weight loss. Studies have shown that portion control and calorie restriction helps you lose weight over time, as long as you stick to the diet plan and don’t add other foods along the way.
Nutrisystem will happily part you from your hard earned money. Make sure you know you have to take two auto deliveries or you will be charged an additiinal 90 bucks for the supposed discount they offered. I don’t know about you but don’t you get sick of companies manipulating and scheming how to deceive you and get more money. I’m just so tired as a consumer. Anyway, Nutrisystem zapped me on this one and I wanted to warn others.
The Nutrisystem diet is one of the simplest weight-loss plans to follow, since there is little meal planning or grocery shopping involved. It’s also nutritionally safe, since it does not prohibit any categories of food and, according to U.S. News & World Report, it meets all of the dietary guidelines recommended by the federal government. The meals include common favorites like pizza, pasta salad, sausage with wild rice and Cajun-style chicken. Different plans are offered for diabetics, vegetarians, seniors and adults of both genders. When you’re ready to move beyond Nutrisystem’s prepackaged meals, free nutrition counseling is available to help you transition to cooking for yourself.
My Nutrisystem weekends on your own looks like this: Mornings I eat cereal. I like one bowl of Special K redberries with fat free skim milk and my two cups of coffee, sweetner no cream. Lunch on Satuardy, if I’m at home is a salad and maybe some watermelon. Dinner is usually at a restaurant. I like salads and I have had some awesome salads. We went to a steak house last Saturday and I had the small grilled Salmon, a baked sweet potato and a salad. If we go Thai I get fresh salad rolls, I love em. We keep sugar free jello cups in the fridge all the time as a snack. It’s a free food so..
It is also ridiculous to say that your digestive system stops digesting the previous meal and starts on the new one. Come on. Have you studied the human digestive system at all? For those of us who are diabetic, doctors recommend the 5 to 6 meals because it keeps your blood sugar level.
It also made me wonder how effective it was if you had to constantly microwave everything. Sure it’s convenient but there are times were the taste ends up being altered afterwards. Something I could not handle. Not to mention how expensive it is. You could probably do it on your own for a lot cheaper if you know what to look for.
The Leaf is Nutrisystem’s long-established (and well respected) weight loss blog that forms the backbone of inspiration and support for people all over the world using the plan. This is something that not many other diet plans provide (at least not to such a high quality). We anecdotally hear that this is excellent for willpower for people on the plan.

So how popular is Nutrisystem? The other nationally known home-delivery meal plan diet came in at just under 14 percent, so Nutrisystem’s claim to be America’s top home-delivery weight loss system seems accurate; at least in 2014 it was.
