Lean meat, fresh or frozen vegetables, fruits, nuts, bread and pasta will keep you going a long time. A diet program like those we’ve looked at can get you started. After you’ve learned how much better you look and feel minus those extra pounds, maybe you’ll even be motivated to find that dietitian we talked about earlier.
That’s a total of 34lbs in 3.5 months. I was thinking about quitting the first month–I’m so glad I didn’t. I read a lot of comments here and most are pretty positive about it. Some are not so positive and a few are downright caustic in their opinions.
So, if we look at the ingredients, you can see that they’re not only healthy but also useful. Isn’t it cool. The only thing that the company suggests you to buy from food, except these meals are vegetables, because they give us important vitamins and other nutrients.
I have not been very impressed with the Nutrisystem diet program. I’ve been on it for over a year only lost 45 pounds. My support group keeps telling me to stick with it longer, claiming that if you stick with the plan you will lose all the weight you want. I’ve read on the NS support forums that 45 pounds is great, but I had hoped that I would have lost 100 pounds by now. Maybe I’ll need to start exercising after all.
It was January 5, 2015. I mentioned to my husband that I was going to try Nutrisystem. I didn’t want to order online until I knew Nutrisystem was going to work for me. I was spectacle since no other diets seem to work. I headed to my local Walmart and purchased a Nutrisystem five day weight loss kit which included fifteen entrees and five desserts. I thought, “If I could just lose 10 lbs. I’d be happy”.
I just started Nutrisystem on sunday 4/6. I can say I love it.. and I’m being so good on this plan because its so easy.. I’m on the Diabetic Plan. my question is and I hope you can advise me whether to continue or not give up. In the 4 days I’ve been on the plan I’ve gained 7 pounds. not to mention this is very depressing.. now i do have to say before on this plan I was a bagel monger.. at least twice a day.. apple pies.. chips.. oh and chocolate in all shapes and sizes.. but I’m quite proud of myself that i’ve been following Nutrisystem by the book.. Please let me know whyyyyyyyyy I gained?
For breakfast I can eat pancakes, blueberry pancakes, cinnamon buns or oatmeal. There are many other breakfast foods to choose from also. For lunch I can eat hearty minestrone soup or choose from many other menu items. Nutrisystem also offers great dinners, snacks and desserts.
With the Core and Uniquely Yours plans, it is possible to further customize the menus to suit your taste as well as the opportunity to include meals designed for those with certain food intolerance, such as gluten; wheat or lactose, for example.
I tried this diet. It did work and it was convenient and I was not hungry. The bad part is that it gave me the worst stomach cramps and gas pains so I had to stop eating the food. I took all of my left over food to my place of employment to share with my co-workers.

I’ve been using the Nutrisystem diet plan since January of 2015. I’ve lost 48 pounds. I started at about 210 pounds and I was a size 16 and today I’m about 162 pounds and a size 10. The plan works but the issue is that some people don’t understand it’s not just about the food. It’s about portion control and changing your lifestyle to eat more (but smaller) meals. I’ve done without their food for quite some time, although I will say that not starting with it wouldn’t have worked. It’s just that I prefer to cook my own chicken or fish and I’m cooking for two very hungry men. I needed the food for a while to train myself as I lost my first 15 pounds. The portions get so much easier after the first few weeks and I found myself feeling uncomfortable if I cheated because my body was getting used to healthy eating. I’m in my 50s and this is the first time I have ever found something that worked for me. But all the focus here is on the food and I didn’t think that was the biggest challenge.
I agree the dry food isn’t all that good and I’ve have off the charts pain in my abdomen after eating it. (Has anyone else had this problem?) I’ve had no problems with the frozen food. It tastes better, too. Good luck on your weight loss journey.
Nutrisystem provides food for me to eat so I don’t have to worry about what to eat or how much to eat. I pick the food I want to eat from the menu that Nutrisystem provides. Nutrisystem also shows me how to plan what to eat for the day.
The story I was covering kept me in Virginia so late, I had to stay an extra day. I planned accordingly, but with one breakfast already down the hatch and no extra helpings, the food was running low. I spread it out as much as possible and, starving again, made the long trek back, fighting the nagging hunger with one last NutriSystem dessert as I drove through fast-food nation.
You can get a plan customized for vegetarians, men, women, or diabetics. I just did the regular women’s plan; some months I did the frozen meals, and some months not. I found both of them to be just fine.
Staphylococcus or Staph is a group of bacteria that can cause a multitude of diseases. Staph infections can cause illness directly by infection or indirectly by the toxins they produce. Symptoms and signs of a Staph infection include redness, swelling, pain, and drainage of pus. Minor skin infections are treated with an antibiotic ointment, while more serious infections are treated with intravenous antibiotics.
This diet is disgusting! The food is extremely high in SODIUM,full of preservatives AND tastes like nothing you would ever make urself.Ms Osmond likely went for Lipo or something. No one in their right mind would ever want to stay w this program longer than they have to.Then what? You gonna keep buying their slop??I have tried most popular TV diets and they DO work. But then you have to live a normal life and maybe cannot afford to buy into these programs. You are gonna get fatter than you were before.Go to a nutritionist at a clinic, walk everyday and love urself more than you might love the way those celebs look. They have everything from Lipo to personal trainers to..lets not forget..Photo Shopped pics.
One thing to note with the Turbo10 Plan (Formerly the Fast5+), is that it is fully customized by Nutrisystem, so even if you choose to go the custom route, you will have to go with what NS picks for this first week of meals. But remember, this week is about getting started on the right foot and kick-starting your diet plan into full gear, so they’re going to put together meals and snacks that help you burn the most amount of weight possible your first week on the system.
Nutrisystem does allow low calorie caffeinated beverages while in every phase of the system. However, sweeteners and creams that are usually added to coffee and some other beverages are not recommended. If they must be used, Nutrisystem says, the client should try to look for low calorie version of sweeteners and creamers. This can be difficult, as many of these products use unhealthy substitutes for natural sugar that may be more harmful than the full calorie versions.
They encourage whole grains and fiber, and have a strong focus on portion size and social support. If you start playing around with their online tools you have the option of joining their community for free.
