“Myfitnesspal Nutrisystem”

Hi Julie- Thank you so much for sharing your story, and way to go for making it through your first month! I absolutely know what you’re talking about with the plateaus, and yes, I have experienced similar results at times. I think the calorie restriction is the hardest part about Nutrisystem, and why now I typically only do the diet for a month or two and then really focus on just eating right and getting enough exercise after that. Nowadays I typically go back to Nutrisystem if I feel like I need a “reset”, or some quick results, sort of like the 13 lbs you mentioned during the first couple of weeks you were on the program – that’s awesome! For me, the approach after Nutrisystem has been intermittent fasting (IF). Of course, I’m not a doctor or nutrition expert, so anyone considering IF should definitely talk to a health professional before trying it. That said, I have had a lot of success with it, and find that I can maintain a healthy weight for long stretches of time when using it. It’s easy to transition to after Nutrisystem as well, because my body has adjusted to eating less. I’d recommend checking out Chris Winters on Facebook, as he has lots of great free IF info. In any case, sounds like you’re on the right track with your exercise plan, and I wish you the best of luck!

I have just finished my 2nd week of ns and have lost 8 pounds. I love everything about this program. The food is pretty good. There are a couple things that haven’t tasted so great but all in all I love ns.

A lot of their lunches are sort of crepes, whole wheat crepes. There is a mixture of this and that inside the crepe. It may advertise as four cheese melt, or chicken fajita melt. There are a number of them. There is a very nice picture on the package, but your food looks absolutely nothing like the picture. Inside you will generally find a sort of paste, a mush, and some of it leaks out of the crepe, kind of busts through. It’s not that bad.

There is a pretty obvious reason Nutrisystem are strict about early cancellation. They’re giving a pretty big discount to attract customers to signup for auto-delivery because that way they sell at least a second month of food, which is better for business than just selling a single month’s shipment.

Nutrisystem claims you will lose up to 13 pounds and 7 inches “overall in your first month,” guaranteed—although its own study found average loss is 11.6 pounds and 8 inches. [3] And it also notes that, like every weight loss program, results will vary person to person and depend on how well you follow the average 1250-calorie-a-day diet.

I got my first shipment of the Silver plan from Nutrisystem about 2 weeks ago. I love the fact that my meals are planned for me and that servings are already taken care of. The fact that there are daily logs to help keep me on track is priceless, because some other diet plans I have used just left you on your own. Other diets make you measure everything out and count your calories. I don’t have to do that with Nutrisystem, but the one thing I don’t like is the food itself.

Constipation or the decrease in frequency and/or difficulty in passing stools (bowel movements) can be caused by a variety problems. Check out these top 15 foods to avoid because they cause Some foods to avoid include, white rice and breads, caffeine, bananas, alcohol, processed foods, and frozen dinners.

Nutrisystem blamed a “slower-than-expected start to diet season” as its “fatigued” advertising campaign failed to attract new customers, Chief Executive Officer Dawn Zier said in a statement. The company sees the setback as “temporary and fixable”, yet forecast first-quarter earnings-per-share of 3 cents to 8 cents, well short of the 28-cent average of six analysts’ estimates.

I lost over 50lbs on NutriSystem. The food was not horrible at the time, but it is hard to maintain that weight loss once I was off the program (like any diet I guess). I would recommend it for anyone who does not have time to prepare healthy meals for themselves. I tried to restart the program after I gained some weight back though, and I couldnt bring myself to eat the food again. It wasnt bad then, but it does get expensive so I’m trying to go the cheaper route.

The results are going to be different for everyone, but if you have 20, 30 lbs, or more to lose, then I would expect to be on the diet for at least two months. If after that time you feel like you have established decent eating habits, then you may decide that it’s time to come up with a healthy eating plan on your own. Remember, too, that Nutrisystem offers expert counselors who you can talk to, and they can help you decide if you’re ready to transition off the program.

I am a busy man who works 80 hours a week. I am also single. I just don’t know how to cook, so I eat fast food quite often. I also eat at restaurants often too. The reason I go out to eat so often is because I am single, busy and do not know how to cook. Going out to eat is just easier than learning how to cook. But eating out is expensive and has caused me to quickly add on 30 pounds that I no longer wanted.

my husband and I have both been on NS for 2weeks now, he’s lost 12 lbs. and I’ve lost 7. I think this diet works, and the food is definitely more satisfying and taste pretty good also.. We both have a considerable amount to lose, so I plan on continuing as long as I see these wonderful results..

While there are some people who are going to complain about the Nutrisystem diet program, their results speak for themselves – if you follow the plan, you will lose weight with their easy-to-follow and effective system.

Have you ever noticed that when you need to lose weight but have little time to devote to the process, up pops a convenience diet company like Nutrisystem to fulfill your needs? They can help you lose the weight without taking up much of your valuable time.

You should know that the meals are not gourmet feasts that you would get in top restaurants. They’re not comparable to the great home cooked meals your grandmother used to make. They are processed and pre-packed meals that are of reasonable quality for that type of meal. We mentioned this at length in our own reviews of Nutrisystem.

I have struggled for so long to lose weight after having three kids. One of my greatest struggles is snacking with my kids. They love the cookies and the chips and the goldfish, and it is so easy for me to just grab handfuls of their snacks while I am sitting around talking to them. All this snacking has been keeping me from losing weight.

There is a need for an economical system like this, but one that offers healthy food and that actually does offer low glycemic alternatives. I am not aware of any system that does this. There are some good looking food delivery offers out there but they look pretty expensive to me.

So far I’m very pleased with the plan and considering ordering it to take to the ski hill with me in the winter where staff accommodation rooms mean a shared fridge and stove which can be difficult to get access and space in. This would be so nice to keep in a closet! Just need my veggies and fruits in a fridge.

It was nice to not have to worry about food too much, though it was annoying to have to stay stocked up on veggies and such. Overall, the meals and even desserts were pretty good, and it’s good that they get you eating several small meals a day. It’s something I picked back up again in the past year — and it’s done wonders for my blood sugar and how much I eat.

Speaking of effectiveness, there is plenty of evidence that Nutrisystem works. There are plenty of success stories detailed in Nutrisystem reviews online, and a few studies have been done too. Most notably, a study that was published in Postgraduate Medicine revealed that participants lost around 24 pounds after six months while the control group lost an average of just 13 pounds during the same period.

NutriSystem can be a very effective weight loss tool for busy and active Women. Many Women simply are not into group support environments, and many do not have the time to do the work necessary to craft their own diet programs, even with great assistance.
