The most recent version of the Atkins diet is by far the most nutritionally balanced. For the first time, the Atkins diet has placed an emphasis on the kinds of fat being consumed instead of allowing all dietary fats. The monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats are now emphasized over saturated and trans fats. The diet has also changed to allow “good carbs” instead of severely restricting all carbohydrates. These foods provide fiber, vitamins, and minerals that were once lacking in this diet. The high amount of protein will be beneficial in keeping you full. I really do like a lot of the food they deliver. I’m really happy with all of the pasta dishes. The Chicken Pasta Parmesan is my favorite dinner meal so far. I like the BBQ Sauce over Beef, but the BBQ Sauce with Pork Wrap tastes a little too spicy to me. I do not like the Grilled Chicken Breast at all, and I wasn’t real thrilled with the Flame Broiled Beef Patty – I’ve been spoiled by Wendy’s.
That said, I tell everyone that weight watchers is the best program because it truly is. You can eat what you want, when you want, you can “cheat”, they have prepacked meals when you’re low on time, AND you have the option of sitting in weekly support group meetings. The program is cheap, has worked for millions of people and provides structure and flexibility all in the same program.
I just finished two weeks on Nutrisystem. I’m desperately trying to lose 30 pounds, and I’ve been desperately trying to do that for five years! I’ve tried every weight loss program out there. You name it, I’ve done it! Nutrisystem was my last resort! I figured if I spent the money for the food, maybe I would actually stick to the plan and lose some weight.

Well, 6 have already gone and I’m looking to make that 20 for sure. I’m a determined guy and when I start something I stick to the plan through and through and I always finish it no matter what. Hey, this is just so easy I love it!
I have purchased this packet for 3 weeks. I have followed it almost to the letter. There have been a few slip ups and I have swapped out a vegetable they recommend for one I love. I have lost 18.5 lbs. That is also buying it, using it for 5 days then my own food for 2 days then back on for the next 5, etc. I am pleased with the food. Very surprised. The only one I could live without and am not too fond of is the chicken alfredo. I do add a tad bit of garlic powder to it and that makes a world of difference. The rest of the food is pretty darn good. I’m so thrilled with my overall outcome of this sample packet, I’m biting the bullet and joining NutriSystem next week. Good luck to everyone.
